About Dr Sylaidis

Rhinoplasty improves the size and shape of the nose. This can be purely for cosmetic reasons, or to correct the results of injury and to relieve airway obstruction. One may reduce or increase the size of different parts of the nose, depending on the goal. Most commonly, patients seek to reduce an excessively large nose or straighten a crooked nose. Reduction operations aim at reducing the central hump plus reduce, refine and raise the nasal tip. Straightening crooked noses usually requires more complex procedures and expectations need be realist as it can be very difficult to fully correct such cases, especially if they have been crooked for years.

All operations and invasive procedures carry some risk of complications.
Dr Sylaidis will discuss this with you and encourages seeking a second opinion.
